An almond shaped olive that has a medium green smooth appearance, which changes to a reddish-black when it is allowed to ripen.

Picholines picked when fully ripe give the oil produced its trademarked flavour of red fruits. It has a clean, golden colour with hints of green spiciness. Its aroma is full of ripe fruit with a smooth texture on the palate.

Aglandou olives are grown mainly in the south of France (Provence) from which a particular delicate and mostly mild tasty Extra Virgin Olive Oil with a slight sweetness is produced.
