UKTV Food 'Local Hero'

This year so many of our customers have voted for us in the UKTV Food local hero awards that we have got through to the 2007 finals!!!!!!

We are being filmed at Brigg Market in August with celebrity chef Silvana Franco.

We are truly delighted to have come this far in the competition and we would like to say a BIG THANK YOU to all of our customers.

Arthur Wright Perpetual Trophy

In June 2005 Spinney Kitchen went to Messingham agricultural show, for the first time, and we are pleased to say when the trade awards were presented we won the Arthur Wright perpetual trophy, which we were allowed to keep for one year. This award is presented to the best trade display of goods on sale that day

Driffield Agricultural Show 'Best Honey'

In July 2005 Spinney Kitchen entered a jar of honey into the Driffield agricultural show, after the judges tasted all the honey that was entered we are pleased to announce our jar of runny honey won the first place and then went on to win best in show, just like at the dogs show Crufts.

Bakewell Show 'Best Plum Chutney'

In October 2006 we had a stand at the Bakewell Show where we entered our 'Spicy Plum Chutney' into the show's Chutney Competition. We are very pleased to say that it was voted the 'Best Plum Chutney'.

Bronze Taste Award

In the same competition Spinney Kitchen also gained a Bronze award for our Lemon & garlic infused olive oil.

Gold Taste Award

In 2006 we at Spinney Kitchen decided to enter a national competition where food companies send products to be blind tested against similar products, as this is a national award we only entered 2 infused oils and we are pleased to announce that we gained a Gold Award for our chilli infused olive oil
